Houston Family Photographer | Wildflower Session

If I’m remembering correctly, Annette (the mommy of these beautiful children) was one of my first paying clients. I was so excited that she believed in my work! And I am so thankful that she contacts me every year to do these wildflower/bluebonnet sessions with her kids.  It makes me so happy knowing that she will have these images of her children for years to come. :)  Annette, I’m thinking we need to do a family shoot next! ;)

I can’t express to you how much fun I have with these kids! I drove from Houston to Fort Worth to photograph them and it was completely worth it! This is our fourth year doing bluebonnet mini sessions and every year we manage to create something fun and special! I love the challenge of pushing my creativity, using different lenses, finding the perfect light. And they are at the age now where they happily go with the flow and trust me (like laying in the grass and looking up into the very bright sky — ha!). The littlest was struggling to keep her eyes open, but she powered through and we got the adorable shot that’s first in this set.
