I was reading through my posts and realized I never blogged this beautiful session! I’m not sure how I missed sharing it but I am eager to share it with you now (even if her lifestyle newborn session was over 6 months ago!) Sarah contacted me after her sweet baby girl was born. What I love about lifestyle newborn photography is that while yes, I do suggest we photograph baby within the first 2 weeks of his/her birth — it’s not at all required or necessary to get beautiful images (as can be seen in the following photos!). So, when Sarah contacted me I was so happy that we were able to make it happen even when sweet Reese was 4 weeks old. This beautiful baby girl is so clearly loved. I actually drove to Dallas to do this session but it was fun to hear that Sarah and Collis are actually both from Houston and most of their family lives here too. I love that I can be both a Houston newborn photographer but also a Dallas newborn photographer!

I love this shot. We got it at the very end and were just wrapping up. She was over it but looked so adorable with that pouty little lip.
