I moved to Houston a little over a year ago. Let me tell you, it’s not easy starting your business over especially when you are newly pregnant (and super tired and sick! Curse you, first trimester nausea!). Then by the time I could invest in networking with local businesses in Houston, I was just too big pregnant and tired! Ha! And then, I had my sweet little girl Adia and I was too tired from having a newborn to make much effort in getting my name out! (Can you see the theme here? I was exhausted!! :P)
When Adia was 6 months old, I started to feel more like myself and I contacted multiple birthing centers to see if they’d be interested in partnering with me. I knew that the odds of hearing back weren’t that great because most places are already connected with a Houston newborn photographer. And I got a few emails back saying just that. So you can imagine my excitement when I received an email from Kelsey (who is an amazing person, by the way!) at West Houston Birth Center saying that they were actually looking for a newborn photographer to connect with and were eager to talk about working with me!
I am thrilled to be the photographer that they recommend to all of their clients. I’m also excited to offer my custom, boutique services to some amazing families at West Houston Birth Center. All clients who birth with the center will receive a special discount on their session fee (look for it in WHBC’s welcome packet and if you don’t find it there, contact me and I will make sure you get it!).
