Motherhood is beautiful.

There is something so beautiful and amazing to me about motherhood — there always has been. That deep bond. The way that no matter how much soothing I do while photographing newborns, every baby is happiest when he’s snuggled up next to his mama, smelling her, hearing her heartbeat, listening to her voice.

I always want my clients (especially new mothers) to feel as beautiful as they look because what they have done, what they are doing, and what they are going to do for their babies is amazing. It is a deep love that is hard to explain and I hope in some small way my photographs can capture that love and bond in it’s purest form.

Ashley is an incredible wife and mother to her husband and three children. I have photographed each of her and Tony’s sweet babies so of course, when she asked me to photograph her newest baby girl Emilia’s newborn session, I was MORE than happy to make the trip from Houston to Dallas. If you want to take a peek at Emilia’s sibling’s newborn sessions you can see them here: Michael and Juliana.
