I am so thankful for this beautiful family — but mostly for this family’s beautiful mama! :) She is such an encouragement to me. We became friends when I photographed her third daughter, Millie’s newborn photos. We managed to hit it off and become sweet friends after that session (even though we live 4 hours away from one another). I was pregnant when I photographed Millie and Lindsay was such an encouragement to me during my pregnancy. Y’all, I hate to say it, but I was one of those women who did NOT like pregnancy. Thankfully, Lindsay has 8 kids and knew exactly what I was going through and probably listened to me whine more than I’d like to admit. :P

As a newborn photographer, it’s always so fun to photograph another little one from the same family. That first session you ever do with a family is more of a “get to know one another” session but by the second, third, even fourth(!) session with my clients, they end up being more like a “hanging out with old friends” session. That’s how it was with this session. I love every session I do but the ones where we are simply catching up and chatting (while taking photographs, of course!) are so fun for me!
